Reptilians
I think Reptilians are a poorly misunderstood race. I think Humans are very quick to judge them to be a malevolent race, without fully understanding their morals, behaviours and history.
There are different subclasses of Reptilians, and overall, this class race has colonised many planets across multiple galaxies.
Humans heavily correlate the "Alpha Draconians" as "the only Reptilian Race", and do not know about other sub-races. Humans also think that all Alpha Draconians are "blood-thirsty killers" and therefore think that all Reptilians are blood-thirsty killers.
Much like our own psychology on Earth for Humans, there is an array of different behaviours and correlated remarks for the actions of our own race. Humans will think with one hand that any shop thief is morally wrong and should potentially have a mild sentencing or atleast repercussive, equivalent actions to justify the thieving. They do not however, agree that all Humans are shop theives. Furthermore, in some circumstances, the thieves that are stealing from these shops may be simply gathering necessary produce in order to survive in a third world country. Other thieves may be stealing alcohol or cigarettes in order to recieve "a high" that allows them to forget about depressing thoughts or aswell, re-sell for money. Not all thieves are morally wrong.
It is of my opinion that this psychology also pursues throughout other extraterrestrial races.
